Busy as a bee
Today it felt warm in the sun and we spent most of the day in the garden, working on various tasks. This bee was also working hard, trying to get at the nectar in this still not fully open tulip.
I also found time to bottle the second lot of beer, so there's an extra showing the 46 litres of beer (bitter and pilsner) in our hall.
They will sit there, in relative warmth, for two weeks and then get moved to the cellar for two weeks in the cool. Then we can taste it! At that stage it'll hopefully be okay to drink but it will improve with another couple of months in the cellar. This evening we celebrated with a bottle from my previous round of brewing, in 2015! We drank a very tasty stout! I think the age of that bottle shows how patient we can be!
