Back to Newbattle

Another day and another walk in Newbattle Abbey grounds. Phin was excited by the squeaky ball he heard on the other side of the river so he jumped in, swam across and stole it. Wee horror then swam back to be looking pleased as punch. As we were about half way along, I shouted across that I’d meet the owner at the bridge. I tried to distract him from jumping up to knock it out of my hand by throwing his own ball in but he just let it flow away down river.
Eventually managed to return the ball to its rightful owner.

An afternoon spent on my blanket, it’s getting bigger!
