Front garden
Yesterday I cut both lawns and I've resisted watering them but they are very dry.
Feeling shattered again.
Consultant saw Terry and now Terry has a second IV antibiotic added, something will be obtained for his cold sores, he is getting Ensure drinks (three a day) while he is struggling to eat, is prescribed clopidogrel - this is because when you have such a big infection and your liver is affected by it plus you are not moving about much, your platelets (in your blood) get sticky and can clump together causing clots so the clopidogrel is to prevent that. His oxygen is off so that's good as his sats were fine this morning. The consultant told him that the ERCP failed due to excess scar tissue from his previous ERCP and stent-fitting which has altered his whole anatomy (not reassuring) but the consultant said he will get him right and he'll be having lots of tests today.
His brother Brian visited today. His son Mark is visiting tomorrow evening, his sister Pat and her daughter are going Wednesday evening. I will stick to afternoons while they are doing evenings.
Very hot today and muggy. I was hoping for a thunderstorm to freshen it up!
I rang the lady who owns the accommodation we booked for Keswick this Saturday (for a week) and although we have passed the free cancellation date she said she would waive the money and she'd tell booking.com - so kind of her! Booking .com have put a small amount of it in a wallet on my account for future use but the bulk of it is due to be refunded so I'm very happy.
This holiday would probably have been the first ever one we'd have had in the Lakes in sunny weather (usually it rains ha ha). I should have known it was too good to be true when I saw the forecast!
