Stepping out

... in my wellies. We've had rain overnight, but not much.
Indie & I had a late start this morning. I needed to make an appointment for Mum to see a doctor about the pain in her leg. Paracetamol & Ibuprofen don't seem to be working, so a visit to the surgery at 8.30am.. A phonecall from the Dr just as I'd finished giving Mum her shower. An x-ray was suggested. Breakfast done, laundry on the go. Indie & I did a slightly shorter walk. Just pegging out the laundry. The hospital rang. An apt at Newton Abbot hospital this Sunday at 12.15. Excellent! Mum was colouring in, so I did a few odd jobs around the house, before making her lunch.
Back home, lunch with Mr Happy... :-) Dropped him off in the town before driving over to see Jan & Frankie. We sat on the decking enjoying the glorious sunshine with our cuppa. Discussed their next adventure in the camper. Jan is a great researcher & planner, so should go smoothly, the weather out of their control.
Drove back to Chudleigh picked hubby up, dropped him at another pub while I drove down to CK to pick Mums laundry in. Home, a late cider, medication, then made Thai red curry with duck for dinner.
