Duck Soup?

No, not the old Marx Brothers movie but a little family paddling along the canal. 
Having spotted the little swan family at the Kelpies, we noted the lack of ducklings and the fact that the ducks seemed still to be swimming around in pairs. However, we saw three families this afternoon on our walk along the canal. 
After a cool, grey start, the sun finally turned up this afternoon and the thermometer pushed up to over 20C but that easterly breeze remained and stopped us from getting really roasted.
