Himbächel Viaduct

Today I used the beautiful (sunny and yet not too hot) weather to enjoy a longer hike through the Odenwald. This time the real woody Odenwald, with a lot, a very lot of trees, small roads, and pretty clear air.
My start and end point was at 530m above sea level, so already to road to and fro this point was lovely.
My wander tour passed the Himbächel Viaduct, a railway bridge 250m long, 43m high, with a single track on top. The bridge was made in 1880-1881. It is a cultural property.
The bridge was used for murder and suicide and hence also has a slightly negative reputation.
