ST MARYS CHURCH

The guttering work was due to start today but no-one turned up.  I didn't bother contacting the roofer - I figured he was still working on the job round the corner.

After the busy day I had yesterday today was a quiet one. Did a load of washing this morning. Then this afternoon I had a wander down to the village.

First stop was St Marys Church to get my Mono Monday blip shot... the theme is 'Stairs, Steps, Feet, Patterns'  . It was very bright sunshine so the shot of the steps isn't as good as I wanted but never mind.  Thanks to DonMac21 for hosting.

Next stop was the chemists to collect my repeat prescription then Herons and Tesco as usual. 

When I got home I settled into my armchair with a cup of coffee and  watched Match Of The Day from yesterday so I could see the highlights of the Newcastle match.

Later on my neighbour Jackie knocked on my door to tell me that some guttering and fixings had been left on her drive while she was at work..   She wondered if they were " mine " and had been left at the wrong house.  I contacted my roofer and he said it was a mistake and they should have been delivered to my house.  He's coming tomorrow to shift them.  No idea why they would got to Jackie's in the first place..  My house has scaffolding all around with a sign advertising the roofing company so I would have thought it was obvious which house to deliver the guttering to.  

Weather today has been lovely again - very warm and sunny.
