A main road here in North Devon … please

This was a glorious spring morning after some lovely soft May rain which was sufficient to baptise everything it touched.
A deafening but beautiful dawn chorus rang out from woodland and heath, willow warblers, linnets, Chiff chaffs, green woodpeckers, song thrushes and skylarks being the most vociferous.
We watched a family with six goslings effortlessly glide around a large mirror surfaced pond in a quiet forest edged glade.
Three hours later back at Amadeus breakfast was gratefully received.
The rest of my day consisted of transporting a few more items to storage in readiness for my next move later on this week and providing some support to a few friends in need.
The evening sunshine bathed our surroundings in a golden blanket, the bullocks in the adjacent meadow were fascinated by Dippy although he wasn’t quite sure what to make of them.
