Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 350

School's back from summer here today. The Portobello Primary pupils were spilling out of their first day back at school with impressive energy and happiness. Still time for ice creams and paddling on the beach after lessons. Their English cousins are enjoying being on the beach all day for another two weeks. At low tide today there was a massive amount of beach to go round and this solitary dooker made a good vanishing point for my blip. ( There is something very Reggie Perrin about this blip for those who remember that ancient sitcom!)

For regular followers of my journal, the armed robbery I mentioned here has reportedly been resolved in as much as a suspect has been caught and is to face charges.
