Hardy haar haar ….

Generally between April and September the east coast of Scotland can have haar, and this was the case today at Portobello, blipped after my shift at the charity shop.

Haar is typically formed over the sea and is blown to the land by the wind. This commonly occurs when warmer moist air moves over the relatively cooler North Sea causing the moisture in the air to condense, forming haar.

Now back home, and the sun has is burning off the haar, which is good to see.

Here’s hoping you are having a good Tuesday.
