Rain, or lack of

According to the meteorological office, it hasn’t rained in East Lothian for nearly a month, which, I can well believe, as the grass is turning a bit dry looking and I have no idea where any of my brollies are! 

Let’s hope we are not in for a drought, or alternatively, let’s hope this is not our summer and when it starts raining again soon, it will lead to a washout for the rest of the summer and autumn. It has been known.

Anyway, the grey clouds woken up to, quickly dispersed and we have another lovely day, as witnessed down by the harbour and on the beach.
