View from my office window

I got a desk in a great "neighbourhood" today. It's because my colleague who normally sits there is away on holiday for a few weeks. This is her view, except she sees it in colour! ;))

It's been a good day all in all. I had a surprise when, just before noon, my boss handed me my birthday card from the team! I guess it got lost in his rucksack.

I went shopping after work to take advantage of a deal that Carrefour have on evaporated milk, and then went to Caesar's for dinner, most of which came home with me. Not sure where the evening disappeared. The History Channel had an interesting programme on Pirates in the 17th century and how the Royal Navy brought them under control. I'll aim to be more productive tomorrow evening.
