Diversions
I now realise that I have become a blipper who is entirely dependent upon her mobile phone for pictures. I used to carry a camera around quite a lot....but now realistically, I barely use one. I took my camera to London at the weekend and took just one picture on it of EAJS. Meanwhile, I took a ton of pictures on my mobile phone. "The best camera is the one in your hand", etc. etc.
Anyway, that leads me to today's wee story. I decided not to do a peloton workout, but to take some exercise by heading round the back of Arthur's Seat and past Dunsapie Loch, on Queen's Drive, where I took this picture. Getting my phone out to take the picture meant I also read a Teams notification about a document to be discussed at "today's meeting". Wait. What? I knew of no meeting of that particular grouping today. Luckily it was at a time I could make by dint of dumping a coffee date, but even so, I was lucky that I even got that notification.... Somehow the calendar invitation had been deleted.
The weather was a bit weird today. Grey and cold first thing. And then sunny in the middle of the day. And then exceptionally cold and grey this evening, as the haar came back in. I was actually really cold on the bike cycling home.
Work was work. And a bit dispiriting.
