Slow progress
Back to reality with a bump today. However, I'd managed to arrange my diary so that I could work at home, which meant that we could pop out during the day to a couple of supermarkets to source some things that need to be picked up by car (and which are mainly going to Tain with us later in the week). I also managed a long peloton workout which undoubtedly gave me more energy than it took away. I also wove a bit of RSE business into the mix. Big decisions coming there soon, so I will need to make sure we get the right data to take things forward.
On the subject of having more energy, unusually for me I've felt quite energetic around dinner time, doing two loads of washing late on, changing the bed and cleaning one of the bathrooms. I normally only do that sort of thing in the mornings.
This is the slowest piece of "finishing" I have ever seen. The big concrete block was installed in November. Some finishing work was undertaken in March. A couple of weeks ago, a pile of blocks for finishing the top of the brickwork were left near the site and then today, two men came and re-installed scaffolding. They didn't do the actual finishing work, though. That's presumably a different crew.
Missing the family in London!
