Reykjavík

We didn’t sleep last night because our plane left at 3:40 and arrived in Reykjavík at 6:30 their time, 11:30 PM our time. After a somewhat long ordeal with the rental car we arrived at our hotel around 9 and, as expected, a room would not be ready until the afternoon. We decided to forge ahead and see the sights of Reykjavik after fortifying ourselves with a delicious breakfast including their amazing Skyr yogurt. Both of us hit the wall around 1:00 and made our way back to the hotel where a ready room awaited. We took a two hour nap and were revitalized for dinner, delicious seafood down on the wharf.
