Gullfoss Waterfall

We drove the “golden circle” today, taking in some beautiful scenery along the route. We watched Strokkur erupt in the geothermal field (not quite as impressive as Old Faithful) and took in the beauty of Gullfoss Waterfalls. We have lots of waterfalls in Oregon, most impressive being Multnomah Falls, so even Gullfoss was a little less impressive to us. Still, Iceland is so clean, the water so pure, and the surrounding snow capped mountains so picturesque!We were blessed with another beautiful day and actually had to use our car’s AC!
