Easy on the eye

Walked into town for an optician’s appointment this morning; the canal was lovely in the morning sunshine and the coffee boat had a table of flowers out on the towpath. The swans were out with half a dozen cygnets as well, so lovely to see.

My eye appointment showed no significant change over a year ago, which is good news. 

Bought an Apple Watch - a basic one, nothing fancy - which is something I have been putting off for a long time, but it means I am less likely to miss important messages. Have to say it really is excellent. 

We have booked a hotel for one night in Hay over the bank weekend when the festival is on, and got tickets for eight events over the two days we are there. Very pleased as we weren’t planning on going at all this year. It’s our happy place.
