Desperately seeking

"Can anybody find me....

.... somebody to love?"

This poor chappie is sitting and singing day after day, looking for a partner. We were annoyed with him, at first, as he has found the perfect home for his true-love - the house martin nest box. Now I feel sorry for him.

Every few minutes he flies into the nest box to check it then flies back to the gutter. On some of these journeys he catches sight of his reflection in the bedroom window and has an altercation with his "rival". This goes on all day long. There must surely be a lady house sparrow out there without a mate!

I had an assignment today, photographing a holiday let. It's tricky in small rooms, even with a full-frame body and a 17 - 40mm lens. Fair enough, anyone making a business of property photography would have an ultra wide lens. I hope I've done better than the phone shots currently advertising the property. I haven't looked at the shots yet.

I got home and was straight out again to my exercise class. An old friend had joined so we had a good chat as we haven't seen each other much since our girls left junior school.

I was tired when I got home and had a nap as I had hardly slept last night.
