Tiny Tuesday

A weekly blip challenge that I rarely take part in but this little flowering bulb, Tulbaghia acutiloba (probably,) does have very small flowers.   Another South African plant, it produces narrow, chive like leaves and clusters of these curious bicoloured flowers.   A botanical curiosity rather than a garden plant, but I rather like it.   The plant is about four inches tall, the flowers about a quarter of an inch across.  Tiny.

Having woken with a headache which stubbornly refused to shift all day, I have had a quiet one.   A planned hike with friend M was shortened but still made for a decent dog walk, in the heat we were both happy with the less strenuous option.   The evening after a short spell at pottery glazing a small vase, another, cooler peaceful walk with blipper J by the estuary where the dogs could be off lead and despite the size difference, they played nicely together, chasing around while we chatted.
