Finally, a sunrise

As the sun rises earlier and earlier, I don't see many sunrises anymore. As I got up at 5:30 I noticed a pretty pink sky and I hurriedly  got dressed and scooted the half block to the park. By the time I got there the pink was gone but other colors were still hanging on. It was so pretty and I wished I could have stayed a while longer just to watch.
