"Bonjour!"

Early coffee & discussion in work today, a day off but that was my doing, needing a clear head, which it mostly hasn't been of late. I took l'Biscuite because the time meant traversing rush hour traffic which she carved through with ease.

For the journey back I went the long way and stopped at Marple Junction for half an hour to enjoy some peace, quiet & time to let brain settle. I made friends with an inquisitive Canada Goose who I imagined was possibly from Quebec.

Parents were then visited for an early lunch and to see how the repainting of the outside of their house was going. Well in fact, and that took me back to an afternoon of DIYing, making slow progress with the drywalling but getting better at the messy job of jointing. Todays tasks included the outside corners and I found them pretty satisfying to get done :-)

After a light tea (egg on toast - uncomplicated) your Gal expired on the settee for a couple of hours and felt much better for it.
