2025 Tuesday — Carpet Stretching

I’ve never had to have carpet stretched. This little house has carpet in the front room and in the bedroom. Ten years ago this coming December, the carpet was laid in this house.

Just recently throughout this house the carpet has developed ripples or little waves, so we contacted a local flooring store to ask about getting it fixed . . . that’s what happened today. A crew of guys brought their tools and stretched the carpet so much that approximately 2 inches of fabric was trimmed off.

The carpet honestly looks better now that they have finished. It looks “perky.” Whatever that means.
