Still going strong in Belfast
We had breakfast and headed out into another day of glorious sunshine.
We bought tickets for the Hop On, Hop Off Bus to get to the Titanic Museum. We had a good couple of hours there, then jumped back on the bus to take in the whole of Belfast.
The divided areas on Shankhill Road and Falls Road were equally fascinating as scary. Also when you go past the most bombed Hotel and Pub in the world a strange feeling comes over you.
Luckily things are quite quiet in Belfast these days even if there is a lot of "passion" between both parties.
After a good dose of culture and education we headed to watch the Liverpool game in a great bar called Whites Tavern. I was more interested in the live music being played.
I heard a song from a band I am particularly fond of and went to watch closely. When the song finished the singer realised how much I was into it. He struck up a conversation mid songs and I told him how I'm a big fan of that particular artist. He said in 15 years of playing he hasn't met another Frightened Rabbit fan. He asked which song I wanted next and I said anything so he played another FR song. Thank you Hootin' Annies.
A quick shower after the day session was followed by a lovely curry. We were all so full after it I didn't think there would be much else consumed after it but we found ourselves in a bar called The Points listening to live music once again. The artist was again brilliant covering songs in a totally unique way, changing the tempo and whole structure of the tunes he covered. Liam Clarke was his name. He was taking requests and we asked for a few songs which he first said he didn't know that well then came out playing very good versions of them.
