Slug free hostas

What a difference to last year’s spring, by now the hostas were already in ribbons, even on the gravel but this year they are healthy and largely unmarked.  I am sure rain is going to come so I’ll keep an eye on them.   But for now. 

Worked at home today and had a couple of good calls.  The company I now work for are well known film producers so they did an interesting seminar (on zoom) about how the two films showing  at Cannes this weekend have been set up and funded.  It was really interesting.  I know about 75% of it but there are gaps in my knowledge so I really learned a lot.

Vikram was teaching so it was peaceful at home. I started reading a novel that’s on offer to us…Irish set detective novel. Won’t say the title in case we want to do it.  It’s certainly a good read.  

Cooked a slightly random meal from BBC food of pork, tomato and goats cheese, it sort of held together but I won’t be doing it again.
