The Feast Day of St Matthias.

Four years ago my Mum passed away on this date. It feels sad and I miss her very much.

The weather is lovely again today but milder and with a breeze.

It is 20c in the living room and 80f in the conservatory.

The cats have been playing in the garden and Star cat visited at breakfast time.

I have been out for a long walk to the park and woodland and then to the canal, taking photographs of the beauty there.

I aim to read more of the excellent book A New Heaven and a New Earth by Katharine Tiernan. It is the last in the trilogy. It continues the story of the protectors of St Cuthbert's relics during Norman times.
