Hedgerow Cranesbill
Geranium pyrenaicum
Another extremely pretty little wild geranium, flowers approximately 30mm across, with leaves deeply cut as in other cranesbills. I've put another shot of one in extras. These were found at the end of the track this morning, rather hidden under taller plants but twinkling in the wonderful dappled light.
As for the rest, the buiilders came back and made some adjustments. Flooding not their fault (no, I really don't think it was) more the fault of my neighbours on both sides whose gutters are linked to my downpipe and both of whose roofs are badly in need of having the moss scraped off. Mine of course is not, the whole roof having been replaced a couple of years or so ago. I shall have to have gentle words.
Buses still not running properly.
Apart from that hot and peaceful day. Hope yours has been a good one xx
PS: Results of the WFW25_05 challenge will be in my journal tomorrow
