Wednesday: Red Wharf Bay

Another day of beautiful blue sky and sunshine, but a very cold wind coming in off the sea.

I had an appointment for another blood test this morning, soon done and I was off to my friend’s charity shop when I bumped into a friend whom I used to give a lift home to, when her shift coincided with mine!

The charity shop was closed, so I went to the Co-op and was met by lots of empty shelves, they had almost been caught out by a cyber attack - https://www.theguardian.com/business/2025/may/14/co-op-cyber-attack-stock-availability-in-stores-will-not-improve-until-weekend - I don’t tend to watch the news or read newspapers anymore so I’d heard nothing of this.

Driving home I took a detour and went down to Red Wharf Bay, bought coffee and cake at the Boathouse, in the interest of supporting local businesses! :-))

Very windy everywhere, with the tide coming in.
