Thursday: Hesperis matronalis

Weather just like yesterday, felt beautifully warm in the shelter from the cold wind blowing in from the sea.

This afternoon I had an appointment  with the doctor for the results of yesterday’s blood test and everything seems fine. I also told her that I’d stopped taking statins because after 6 weeks my legs are very painful with swollen ankles - she agreed with my decision :-)

Lots of Hesperis around my garden, this one is in the sun and has started flowering, the insects will be very glad of it and I’ll try to get a photo!
