I was up and about early this morning enjoying the peace of the tow path when I bumped into these, happily having their breakfast. They might only be cows but it's not what I usually see on my regular running route!

Today was the funeral of my old school friend who had a sudden and fatal heart attack a few weeks ago. I was never going to be able to make it as I couldn't move or get out of my conference but I messaged a few other friends on and off through the day. It went well and he had a good send off and celebration of his life. His family have kept his pub open, I hope they continue to do so although it was his pride and joy so who knows .
