SHADOWS OF OURSELVES

My sister A2 and the shadows of me, two more sisters, her partner R and b-i-l M. We met up at Rievaulx Abbey and then moved on to Helmsley where this was taken.

Rievaulx (1st extra) was being taken over by house martins which were incredibly busy nest-building in every available site (2nd & 3rd extras). Other extras show a visiting cat, two of my sisters and a partner cloud- and bird-watching, two baby goldcrests and a young thrush. It was a lovely day, but we missed having sister K there. She was otherwise committed and couldn't join us.
