Trundling Firewood
The grass on our Land is getting very tall, and some of it will have to be shortened by the 31st - an extension has been given because of all the rain we've had. Mike trundling tree fellings back for firewood - though that will presumably not be needed now till next winter. I say presumably because the weather has been very strange - I used my electric blanket at nap time today, and have a cardigan on now - in May in southern Portugal!
Gratefuls:
- getting the back window of the car replaced (at last) in Évora this morning
- chatting to my sister and husband in Texas, and booking our flights to meet them in Naples in June
- reading The Prodigal God, by Timothy Keller, which ends with an explanation of one of my favourite book/films, Babette's Feast
