Back To Humbie

It was cloudy this morning but eventually the sun came, although not quite as warm. I took Arlo to Humbie Church Wood for his evening walk. We were first/last there in February and it seems another big tree has fallen across the river. It was quite low in the glen and I would have expected it to be sheltered by the other trees higher up... but I have long had a theory about soil deterioration in recent years caused by heavy rain/lack of rain based on absolutely zero science evidence but you heard it here first/last!
