Enjoying the Sunshine

After a cold start to the day we had a lovely sunny Autumns day with around 20c.

I had my appointment at the Optometrist this morning. My left eye had changed since December but a new prescription wouldn't help. She notice a haze at the back of that eye and wants to use drops to see better into the back of the eye. They didn't have time today so will have that done next Wednesday. Said I will not be able to drive for a few hours afterwards. Also if I get any flashing lights like I had after my first concession I need to be seen straight away. I haven't felt very well since having the lights shining into my eyes. It is because of the concussion I am still very light sensitive. 

This afternoon the carpet company rang to say they want to check the carpet in Akaroa tomorrow so he had to pickup a key from me. When I first saw the new carpet in Akaroa there was a colour difference. The carpet layer has seen it and said that he seemed to think it may have been a different batch. It has taken a long time to sort it out. It will be interesting to see what the result is.
