Signs of Spring?

I didn't have a very good nights sleep last night because of the pain in my head. This morning I was replying to my friends message when I got extreme pain across my eye. It took a long time to ease. I rang the optometrist whom I saw yesterday and they said I needed to be seen as soon as possible. They were fully booked and told me to go to any optometrist that could see me or go to the ED. After calling eight optometrists I finally got an appointment this afternoon because of a cancellation.

I was given a lot of tests on my eyes and they didn't find anything too bad. I was told the pain was probably nerve pain behind the eye. Also today the optometrist said I have a infection in the eye. He gave a perception for some eye drops to use for four days. Also a letter to give to my usual optometrist. 

Update on my carpet in Akaroa. The man dropped my keys off at lunchtime. Said the carpet looks a different colour because of the join being a large bulge, which makes the light catching it at a different angle. Once the bulge goes down it should look the same colour. Hopefully that is what will happen. Also he commented that I had a spectacular view from my place in Akaroa. It was 23.6 there today. We had 21 in Christchurch. Rain and cold weather on it's way. 

I got an surprise to see the Soleil D'Or in flower today. 

I can't look at the screen for long. I will catch up when I can.
