Yellow iris

Woke up to no blue sky today!! what is going on?!!  Still cloudy out there now so it feels like normal service has been resumed on the weather front!  There's also a lot of thick black smoke in the local area as there's an industrial unit with a large fire currently being attended to by 8 fire crews.... windows are all shut as it's rather stinky!!

We've been on a mission to get things out of the house today - donations taken to charity shops and to other charity fundraisers so that feels good! I was also given back some books I'd lent to a friend, and she'd added some chocolates to the bag to say thankyou  to me!

This yellow iris has started to bloom in our small pond!  It used to be a nice haven for wildlife in there but since the cats visit the garden the frog population is no more :(
