NEW CONSTRUCTION

Lots of off-season construction at Road America.  This is the north paddock...where race participants will park their trailers and cars and do any work necessary.  It was previously on several levels and mostly grass with a some paved roadways for entrance/.

It has been flattened, paved and newly painted.  Lots of drainage issues have been addressed and the entire area now has sub-surface drainage pipes that lead off track to a designated area.  It should alleviate any water issues in this area.

It's the SVRA race weekend.  Testing today with races Friday through Sunday.  This new system will be tested this afternoon as severe Thunder Storms are expected to arrive later this afternoon with a high probability of tornadoes.  Hopefully, things will have calmed down a bit by Friday.
