NASTY WEATHER

It was pretty nice at Road America today, if a bit windy, while the SVRA races were being held.  Mostly a practice day but a couple of qualifying races.

It was quite warm and humid and about 3pm this giant black cloud appeared looking like one of those alien space craft we've all heard about.  It didn't provide much rain but it surely looked nasty.  24 hours previously there were tornadoes about half an hour's drive SE of us.  Glad nothing like that happened here but there was a fantastic lightning and thunder show....worthy of a Las Vegas review.
