Ben Mor Coigach from Ardmair

Today we were in the studio until mid morning preparing various small pieces of paper using a variety of mark making techniques with mixed media, and two larger pioeces to be further worked on later.

After coffee we went on out to Ardmair where there was time for sketching.

After lunch the group asked our tutor if we could go back to Ardmair to work, so instead of working in the studio we took the last two prepared papers from the morning out on location and made two paintings there. Each one was worked on for approximately one hour. It was a lovely day and we all enjoyed being out painting in the sunshine at such a beautiful spot. Ben Mor Coigach is featuring in a number of paintings.
