Lily of the valley

Unfortunately by the time I was able to reach these delightful little flowers, favourites of my mother, they were almost over.

Excellent news is that the injection seems to be working as I was able to get out of bed and walk around without holding onto the furniture. And with minimal pain. However I am being good and adhering to the advice given yesterday.

My GP phoned as planned, a week after he prescribed the Oramorph, and I was able to thank him for emailing JMAPS. He says he prescribed a very small dose and if needed in future he knows I need more than 2.5ml. He says it is the osteoarthritis that is the issue and he can now give me an injection if necessary in the future. Meanwhile JMAPs keep sending me a questionnaire to complete but by the time I get to the bit giving me a special code it all disappears. Says it all about their crazy system. I probably wouldn’t get the chance to complain about the circuitous route to treatment they EVENTUALLY provide anyway.
