National Notebook Day

I noticed this when I was on Instagram today and thought I'd share a picture of my current notebook, err, journal, on here. I've been writing, keeping a journal, since I was eleven and it's caused quite a bit of scandal in my family as some members think that it's an unhealthy obsession. This is because I tend to write daily and I aim to be brutally honest with what I put pen to paper. Often it's what I wrote when I was eleven or twelve that gets brought up in the discussions about my keeping a journal, and my arguments about the fact that twenty years can bring a lot of change about. I'm not planning to stop writing.

Today has been lovely. Little Man had a splendid time at nursery, and managed to stay for the entire morning. I was thrilled as it gave me the chance to relax a bit and write in my journal about a few things. I collected Little Man from nursery and then spent the afternoon hanging out at home together.
