Marital Bliss

A wood duck pair, stood a respectable distance apart, on a branch of the fallen willow tree. They look as though they have fallen out over something because they're facing opposite directions. But, despite keeping my distance, I think they were more concerned about my presence and watching for a threat. The colourful male is another favourite of mine.

The kildeer, from the day before yesterday, appears to only have one egg in the nest.
