A Fabulous Birthday Outing

I treated myself to a spa day for my birthday!

I left home at 8:20 am to do the usual bus, metro, train, 15-minute walk to the cable car station up to a place, Mont Pélerin, above the lake.  First of all I did multiple lengths in the big pool, then sauna (too hot) and hammam (better) and then a very relaxing Lomi Lomi massage before lunch on the outside patio.

Of all the photos I took, the ones I like the best are with the huge  cream coloured parasols, especially the main one with the mountain tips!

Extras:
- Going up in the funicular (cable car?) 
- View from the spa
- the lovely terrace where I had lunch
- a little church nearby
- lovely trees and greenery for a walk after lunch
- One of the amazing and lifelike sculptures/statues
