To Edinburgh
It's been nearly eight years since the daily cycle to Edinburgh for work and being at a bit of a loose end and in want of a camping stove for the van I thought I'd go to Decathlon for a look. My, the difference an electric motor makes to the trip. Piece of piss. The infrastructure is almost as disjointed and crappy as it ever was and Decathlon was a bust but the run into town on the path by the tram lines was reasonably pleasant and Lupe Pintos didn't disappoint.
The thought of buying a couple of cold cans and sitting on the Meadows for a beer was tempting but I had already discounted the chances of getting my bike on a train so I was cycling home and beer wasn't going to help.
The old legs started to notice when I got back to Cramond and was expecting them to deal with the hill at Miller and Carter but kicking the assistance up a notch took care of that.
