sea anemone

we rarely get to do any 'rainy day activities' here but today there was some rain forecast so we thought we'd visit the aquarium in Banyuls. Needless to say it was a beautiful warm sunny afternoon  with not a drop of rain. Its a lovely place and I enjoyed photographing all the fish (so much easier than trying from under the water) . I particularly liked how they'd used ultraviolet light to show up those creatures, like this sea anemone, that dont like the light. Extra is of a jellyfish . After our visit, a stroll around the port and an ice cream stop we thought it was going to be a little late to cook once we got back home so we stopped off at Collioure ( see other extra) for supper, which is hard to resist on an out of season evening when the light is often good and its fairly empty.
