My day.
Went to see the 70 m long 1000 years old Bayeux tapestry which tells about the battle between William the Conqueror and the English King Harold. Then went to Omaha Beach to walk on the beach where the American soldiers arrived on June 6 1944. Thereafter to the cemetery where 9389 soldiers who lost their life that day are buried. Then we drove to Caen, where William the Conqueror is burried in the Monastry he established in 1883. ( Extra, Mrs B seen in red).
