Snuggled Up Duck

Mish and I went to Fishers Green for the first time in a while. I decided to go as it has been dull and cold so I wouldn't have to worry about her getting too hot in the van.

I was hoping to photograph terns in flight but initially I couldn't spot any in the position where I have captured a large flock of them in previous years. I met a birder and he said there are only six this year. I caught sight of a couple but didn't get any decent pics.

I met Trigger the English bull terrier and his master. His wife was with him too. We had a nice chat. I got a very distant whitethroat image. My mallard drake is unipedal resting on the platform by Seventy Acres Lake. The muntjac doe was by Longlands Hide. Funny little cootling. Lots of mayflies flitting around the comfrey flowers.
