Fine Night For Flying

Sunny and warm, just the norm.  

Up early, first day of holidays, off for just over two weeks.  A day tidying the house, Megan is coming to stay while I'm away.  Some garden chores done too.  Packed my bag, headed to the airport with peerie Brian.  A quiet evening in the hotel at the airport.  

Caught the last flight to Edinburgh this evening, a perfect evening to be flying.  I must say, the break will be wonderful, but I don't like leaving home with all this lovely weather we've had recently.  Good to see old faces at the Loganair check-in desks, doing their usual silly pranks on me over the tannoy.  Looking over west part of Sumburgh Airport and runway, with Compass Head and Sumburgh Head in the distance.
