So close

This morning was very wet with poor visibility so no boat trips were possible. We visited the little museum and wandered about having a quiet morning. In the afternoon we were about to go off for an island tour when whales were spotted to the North of the island. We quickly donned our waterproofs and set off in pretty calm seas. It wasn’t long before we saw our first Sperm whale, then some bottlenose dolphins then another three Sperm whales. One of them swam right between our boat and the next giving us the closest view yet of the beautiful animal.

A nice dinner with the group then back to our room. Now in bed listening to thunder, the loudest I have ever heard!
