First strawberry, nearly ripe. Two more days. The shot I wanted to capture was the herd of a dozen elk running across our neighbor’s farm field today. We have lived here 38 years this August, and while I have seen one set of elk tracks in that time, I have never seen any live animals. Elk, but we have strawberries.
