Cygnet season

As well as rose season, it's cygnet season in Scotland. The swans at Victoria Bridge raised 9 cygnets last year, and have 9 new ones this year. More experienced parents than the Inverleith pair. 

Pilates in the morning, a thorough hour. Warm walking back. ENE wind got up later so when we walked in the afternoon it was barely warm enough to do without a jacket. 

Evening visit to the bar and food place which is replacing the Dublin Street Fox (which replaced the Little White Pig). More boringly called Dublin St Social. Seems to have a plausibly short menu, Japanese beer along with the regular kind, a wider wine list, and a mid range good quality selection of whisky. It's also going to be open at 10.00am for coffee and breakfast, which seems ambitious. Met several neighbours from the surrounding streets, who are their initial target audience.
